[ukvac] OT: Royal mail
The sender has to claim, if recorded they 'can' get back the full value of
the package if they paid extra for the full value to be insured (back of
recorded delivery receipt), but not the money spent on postage (unless they
take them to small claims court for breach of contract (havn't ever taking
it that far - yet))

Did they leave it on the doorstep? I've had two packages dissapear this
year, and saw another left there whilst working on my car. Called them up
to complain, asking if the missing packages were left there and nicked by a
passer by, 'We dont do that sir' she said so i gave her the reg number of
the van which did - and they sent me a crappy apology letter and a book of
stamps !!
