Outrun 2 leaderboard

Hi All

It's about time we had an Outrun 2 scoreboard.

I will make it all nice & pretty once we start getting some scores added, I'm busy getting something recorded myself

You can pick any car, difficulty should be normal, AT or MT & if you have FFB it should be set 8 or above in the test menu.

All scores for Outrun2 and SP accepted, as long as you have a photo of the route taken & final score with time or video of the complete run.
Identical routes will be grouped together should anyone decide to take any of the nonstandard routes to the goals.

Also due to the weirdness of how OR2 scores I thought we should have 2 sections, fast times & highest score.
Both time & score will be submitted but either can be updated as required.

Can anyone confirm if console ports of the game have identical scoring and timings ? If so we will accept these also.

And if anyone can actually finish the blasted 15 course mode I'd love to see a video

We're doing this over on jamma, gone a bit quiet of late tho, so be cool to have one for the vaccers too.

We settled on the pc/console versions being near identical and started with standard outrun route A, could perhaps do similar?

I look forward to having my times spanked by all the good players lol.

Lets start with Route A on Standard Outrun 2 or SP and we can expand as we need to.

Just uploading a speed run and score run to youtube now so my submission will be later tonight, still some lost time & score on both runs so hope to improve over the coming days.

As strykr says we had a to at this on J+ but only seem to have managed one round before people lost interest. Quite happy to play it some more!

I've done the standard continuous mode but not the SP run, get to the Milky Way finish line but never over it

My problem is I play a lot of course A & E but never the ones in the middle, just need a bit of practice in the middle stages.

good stuff! heres my first post. (arcade version. settings as default (i.e.: normal difficulty)

2 times/scores below. one for outrun 2 and one for SP

looks like a decent start but more practice is needed!
