Outrun UK / USA Cab differences

Out of interest, with regard to Outrun Uprights (not the mini) are all parts on the cab the same, I know the sides are slightly different, but is anything else not the same?

Pretty much all the same. You mention the side profile being different- the US cab has the 'bulge', whereas the UK cab just curves over at the top.

Other differences:

UK cab is thinner at the front of the footplate (see side profile).
UK cab has an Atari sound amp- US cab has Sega amp.
UK cab has stripe sticker and oval sticker- US cab has stripe only.
UK cab has wooden shelf inside coin door- US cab just has coin box.
My UK cab has flexible marquee and glass cover- US cab has plexi art and no glass (not sure this is always the case though).

Plastics, pedal assembly, control panel assembly all the same.

I'm having a big urge to get another Outrun (should never have sold mine a few years back!!)

If only we had a teleporter instead of container shipping.
