nice, ive messaged him, may i ask how much yours was?
Ohh, I cant remember, mine is quite large and I was surprised it did not cost more.... A guesstimate is around 500£ every day thing included... Can check exactly but not at the moment.... I found it worth it, it is a handmade piece of art, and quality rugs cost money.

Here's the UK Kong Off rug that Allen Staal made.
As soon as I knew it was for sale, I pounced.
It's superb quality, thick and HEAVY!
Far too nice to put on the floor and have muddy cat paws on it.
I intend to have it put in a frame and up on the wall.

It's art, that just happens to be a rug.
I'd encourage anyone to get in touch with Allen and buy a rug.
You won't be disappointed.

Hey!

I started my days on this forum to just lurk around a bit and then I posted in a couple of threads.

Time for my introduction..

I am a arcade nerd/enthusiast from a small town in Sweden, some of you might have seen posts by me on other arcade forums like DLF or KLOV.

I bought my first arcade game back in 2004, It was a generic wooden cabinet made i Denmark by "JK Automater", They are are very common

here in Scandinavia to say the least.

I got the cabinet with a Neo Geo mobo and Super Sidekicks 2, since then It happend quite alot, especially the last 3-4 years. I dont

even know how many games I own at the moment, around 30 I think.

I have 17 of them up and running in the basement (my happyplace).

Its mostly game from the right time-period that I allow myself to collect and bring down to the basement, I said that no cabinet newer than 1986

would come down there, but then I imported a R-Type from the U.S and that rule is now broken.

My favorite games to play at the moment is Bubble Bobble, Rainbow Islands, Donkey Kong, Wonderboy In Monsterland and Pole Position.

If you are interested in my life as a collector/gamer check out my instagram @pingeahlin

Below you have a few pictures of the basement, It will soon change as I get games I appreciate more I suppose.

Game on!

Wow! What a beautiful bundle of machines 🤤🥳 Well done. I love how R-Type broke the rules.
