ANYONE LOCAL KNOW OF A GOOD PLACE THEN ??

I know a cracking pub in town for a few beers. It is called Roxy's Fun Pub. Great night in there, the DJ is a blast, and the clientele is is "interesting" to say the least. Lets just say if you dont pull in there then you will never pull anywhere (could be you end up with a sore ring piece though lol).

Are there "on the door" tickets as well, or strictly pre-order?
I'm 90% certain I'll be going now I'm employed again (or will be 3 days after Play), but given how close it is, and post etc...

Well I did mute the idea of a curry to James a while back and he was going to be with the family so requested somewhere that also did non curry type meals. Normaly Indian restaurants are pretty week outside of their target meal, but Michaels in Thornton or their new Blackpool one actualy does a good pizza as well as excellent Curry. I don't know if James is still up for it though as I haven't spoken to him for a while....but I'd still suggest Michaels. Its about 5 minutes drive from the venue.

Or, if it suits people who might be staying at or near the Norbrek castle, there is "Curry Queen" that'sin walking distance down Red Bank Road in Bispham. I have no idea about their non-curry options though.

Any of the Jock brigade going to this can pick up a box of PCB's for me ? Wont make it down, but if they could be dropped off at any of the highland brigade in central Scotland on the way back it would save me a lot of hassle.

I've been and come back as Riley was getting grumpy. I got a couple of pics and will post soon. Was a good event good line up shame there was no pinballs though. Wasn't keen to the trade prices. Saw a boxed snes zelda for 95 quid! If I keep hold of my copy I'll be able to retire on those prices. Saw a few guys cmonkey, Porchy, rgp, u72, Luke, Tony, Iremfan and others sorry if I missed your name. Overall good event :)

Really enjoyed the day. A good social event for chatting crap with friends lol. Well done to the RGP team for keeping the cabs running all day. I hope tomorrow is just as good!

Poor show on the curry front....there was only me and Tony who wanted to go out....so needless to say it never happened (There was no way I was going to be alone with Tony!)

Had a good few hours at Play Blackpool today. Bumped into the usual motley looking cast of characters that seem to hang around at these kind of events, namely RGP, u72, Purity, Equites, ben76, TonyElyod, jonhughes, Urgentemente, Porchy and probably a few others that I can't put names to!

Too much to see and do for just a single day, wish I'd stayed for the weekend now
