I'm supporting the NLP guys but not sure what I'm doing on the Friday/Saturday evening.

Hmm.. Did you think that'd really happen? They rebuked the notion of meeting sociably to discus their issues and frankly dealing with it like adults - instead their rebuttal was done privately of course with a nasty, spiteful and aggressive PM as is their nustomary way... So, dining with the Sith isn't likely to happen any time soon

Last year we (The Arcade Otaku boys +Co) just went to the food court inside the Trafford centre before heading to hotel bar.

Yeah, the food court in the Trafford Centre was decent, there's a (modern, but not too terrible) arcade in there and the hotel bar is cheap, nearby (no faffing with taxis), open late.

People logistic laziness but worked out well the past couple of years - wander out, grab food, all head to the same place. Easy.
