Hi , how can I check that my messages are working? The reason for my question is because I was in the process of buying a G loc boardset from pete thechop , everything was going well and I was just waiting for him to give me some postage and handling costs . Then NOTHING , I have left him multiple messages and no reply , but when I check his profile , he is still active on this forum.

if you really want to check you could try sending yourself a private message

You can tell if private messages have been read by going to your outbox and on the left side the envelope icon will be open if the message as been read!

As TWB states go to your outbox, it will show you if the PM has been read or is still unread.

Also I just noticed that thechop hasn't been on the forum for a few days maybe he's busy and just needs some time!

Although that is not 100%, if you read a sent item in outbox on a mobile phone, it looks like the recipient has read it when they haven't.

I know from personal experience that Pete can be hard to get hold of.

You just might have to very patient...

As a general point of advice, if you do make a purchase from a forum member, do not use paypal gift or money transfer unless you personally know them well.
