I know this is a long shot but does anyone have any of the following PROMs available ?. N82S135 MMI 6309-1 MMI 63S281 TI 18S22 TI 28L22 MB 7118 AM27S23 74S471 74LS471 uPB421 It is for a Congo Bongo/Tip Top board, so I'd also accept a faulty or scrap board if it has the PROM or even any clever ideas on how to replace it with something else. Thanks, Cliff. ------------------------------------ Yahoo! To be fair, I did notice it missing in the photo but waited for it to turn up to make sure :) . I have been after one of these boards for ages so I am determined to get it working one way or another. Just finished on a Zaxxon board too so it came at just the right time. Its a pity it isn't as nicely screened up as a Zaxxon, having all the sections marked up like that made it so much easier to work on. I got the last Rally X board from you working (New Rally X ROMs), so cheers for that !. The Rock and Rope had a faulty PAL so has been put to one side, it does have an interesting bootleg style replacement for the Konami 1 custom CPU though which I will be taking a good look at later, so it was still worth it. Cliff.

Thats weird, I never noticed a chip missing before. That game used to work when I got it, and I don't remember removing a chip from it. Chips don't usually just fall off either, if I still have it it will be well and truely lost by now. I have another roc'n'rope. I remember playing the game so maybe the next one will work (insider tip). Is the 'unknown' konami scramble?. I don't have my eprom/cabinet/adapters anymore so I don't know what some of this stuff is. Rob

Rob, That's alright, I kind of like the sport of it and rarely buy fully tested working boards. It certainly looks like Scramble, I plan to ROM ID it some time in the next few days. At the moment, it is drying off after a good scrubbing. The thought of getting boards wet always used to make me cringe but after seeing the result once I often do it now.
