extract, copy the "SimpleTouch FE" folder into "Program Files" and create a shortcut to "STFE.exe" within that folder

then copy the "Quiz" folder to the "C:" drive

then run "STFE.exe" and it should load the games automatically in the background

hopefully that will get you up and running with most games

some will need DLL's etc. that i dont have here at work with me but will upload when i can tomorrow

hope that makes sense and if you have any problems i will try and help tomorrow

this has worked for me on about 10+ machines i have retrofitted

i have added all the SimpleTouch interface and the images to make the game selection easier

im off to the Trailer Park Boys now so will log back on tomorrow

Hi Guys,

Im downloading all these games i can find as today i bought a cabinet with a pc in it and the coin hoppers etc but a lot of the games dont work.

They go to load up but then just crash out, either that or they load a completely different game than what was expected.

It seems like quite an old interface too and its an INDE set, i think its Fat Spanner and says its from 2006. i would like to update it, or atleast put some games that work on it, I have found the folder INDE on the C drive and it has a lot of different folders in there with the game names, When i try to run the EXE files that dont work from the official menu an error is raised saying cannot load. (i can get exact error if it helps)

Anyway once i have downloaded these files is it just a case of finding the INDE games and putting teh complete folder in the folders i have? I am thinking maybe my games are corrupted? the ones that dont work...

Or should i bin all these and load up simpletouch FE with a list of newer games? i could even format the HD and load windows XP? (its currently on 2000) my issue is i like the way it works with coins and payout and i also like the fact that the note machine works on it too, if i use simpletouch fe will that stop all that working?

Sorry about all these questions, i hope someone can help. Im happy to post some of the games i have that do work in reward for some info. I have around 20 working games including millionpound drop etc

Hi new member here. I downloaded and installed the games and such. I can get the ganes to display but none will load, it says the sim.exe has crashed? Any ideas would be helpful. Also what are the specs needed for the games as my touch screen pc is rather old. Thank

Hi All, i am new to this forum.

I am wanting to know how to get access to the question and answer files for these games. Are they hardcoded in the game program or are there external question/answer files?

Thanks in advance!

Does anyone have a copy of the SWP software please? looks like most of the resources are offline now and cant find anyone on ebay selling the disks. I have a megatouch that is refusing to work with the touch screen due to what I think is a faulty serial controller on the motherboard. Managed to get the touchscreen working on another XP machine so was thinking of building up a custom machine which would hopefully be easier to support moving forward but struggling to find the software.

What version was your megatouch? You might be able to run the XL version under dosbox.

The newer ones used linux or an embedded version of windows. No experience with those.

I have some of those quiz programs as well. Never experimented much with them yet. After using some of them, my c drive became partially inaccessible. I had no rights anymore to create a folder on it. Not sure if it's related, but you might test in a virtual environment first.

It's a couple of gig's. One of the members here was very kind and sent me a Dvd with them.

If you can't find them, I am sure we'll find a way. If you could PM an upload location, we have a way...

Massive thanks to obcd and steshell for sharing some of the raw files for this. Just done a first play video of the machine. PC is running windows XP with the simple FE front end. Took about a week to put it all together doing bits at a time, finding additional software and putting together the front end. Tried to use the amp from the original cab but getting too much interference so will replace that soon.

Hi,

Can anyone help, I'm looking for the latest set of quiz games available to download. I see there was a link here previously but I can't seem to see it anymore.

Happy to pay for the service or make a donation.

I've used these years ago so now how to use them but can't find the DVD anymore.
