Random Errors

I keep getting random errors when navigating to the site:

Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occurred while connecting to the database.
Please contact the Forum Administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_SQLServer_db_connection
File Name:- database_connection.asp
Forum Version:- 10.11

Error details:-
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server
Cannot open database "ukvac10" requested by the login. The login faile

Thanks for reporting this. We are aware of it though.

Does it happen often for you? I've seen it every now and again, but so rarely it's been difficult to really consider that it was anything other than a connection thing at my end. Gven others are reporting it too ow it's obviously not me

one strange thing i noticed as well

when typing a post and you insert a link to a webpage if you first preview the post then click on the link in the preview window it opens a page saying the ukvac forum is down for maintenance

it does not affect using the forum but i thought i would mention it

Hi mathj,

Could you post the URLs you're generating in the preview window please? I suspect this is being grabbed by the redirect handler we had in place during the site upgrade but a sample or two will prove it so we can pull the redirect directive.

also when I make a post and add a hyperlink when I post it the forum adds a little bit of code to the url that makes the link point to the above page

if I edit the post and remove the code that is added the link then works
