Hello everyone,
we are trying to identify and document an apparently very rare **SEEVEND “Space Empire” upright arcade machine** that has survived here in Germany.
The machine appears to be largely in its original condition and is still working. It is a full-size coin-operated upright cabinet and has apparently not been converted into a modern multigame/MAME machine.
The cabinet has:
– SEEVEND branding on the front
– original “Space Empire” marquee and artwork
– original game instruction artwork
– original CRT monitor with a **Hitachi 510NJB22** picture tube
– original-looking game PCB with socketed ROMs
– original joystick and buttons
– original coin mechanisms and coin box area
– original power supply/transformer and internal wiring
– wooden cabinet with woodgrain side panels
From our research, **Space Empire is a 1980 variant/bootleg of Irem’s UniWar S**, but we have so far found very little information about this particular German SEEVEND cabinet.
The machine was apparently operated commercially in Germany and later survived in private ownership.
We would be very interested to know:
**Has anyone here ever seen another SEEVEND Space Empire cabinet?**
Does anyone have old SEEVEND catalogues, flyers, distributor documentation or photographs showing this particular machine?
We would also be interested in identifying the PCB and determining whether the cabinet, PCB, CRT, artwork and controls represent the original SEEVEND configuration.
Finally, we would appreciate opinions from experienced collectors regarding its rarity and collectability. At this stage we are primarily interested in documenting and identifying the machine rather than simply putting a price on it.
We can provide detailed photographs of the cabinet, PCB, CRT, coin mechanisms and internal components.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
