Well, the good news is, the uncertainty appears to be resolved. Just for once the the corporate world works for us and not against us. I have to go to the office in morning so I shall be taking a detour (without the cats) on the way home Friday

The bad news is that means that if anyone wanted me to bring anything (other than myself) then you only have the next 6.5 hours to say so. And if it involves me going up to the shed then you're sh i t out of luck anyway since I can't think straight at 8am as it is let alone go up there.

Baz - no idea if you're coming but I may as well bung yer Galaxian Multigame in the boot of the car.

Hi Guys

If anyone that is going can bring a Programmer that is capable of burning a 27C160 eprom that would be real handy, its a 42pin beast.

Also if anyone has an of the above chips spare that I could buy and program up as spares that would be great.

I will be bringing a sh*tty XP laptop with me for some other arcade related fun. so can use that if needed.

Tim, it's easy to remove, just a couple of screws. It's on something similar to an IDE header, just unplugs once the screws are gone If you also happen to have a 9010 fluro display kicking about that would do nicely too

Just a quick note to say thanks to Rav for opening up his collection to us reprobates again, much appreciated. Cracking time as always altho I managed to get my arse kicked on every game I played. Highlights for me;

Finally meeting someone else from Essex into VAC (PaulC)
Getting some sweet 9010 parts from Tim

Some close games on the Morse code version of Asteroids with Greg.

Gutted I couldn't stay for the evening, I bet you all had a great time. Apologies if I didn't get round to talking to anyone at the meet, it's always the case, too many people too little time, too many games to be played

Yup. Ditto from me. Only bummer is that I've come away wanting to buy something that going to cost lots of $$$

Pissed off that I couldn't stay for the second night too but frankly due to family commitments I was doing well to get there at all. That's life I guess!

Highlight for me? Just making it to my first meet in a few years! Actually, that's not quite true, but the first ukvac one.
