Re-Purpose Items, What could you use Lifting Mech for?

As Retroman was trying to re use a TV Amplifier I also try and reuse things if possible but sometimes you can't think of anything to use it for, I've got things I can't sell that are in the way and gotta go and this is one item I can't shift

So it's Boot lid Lifting mechanism from car I've stripped down as I needed the engine and I already have full setup of spares for mine anyway, 12v motor drive, very well made like Japanese stuff is

Only idea so far is TV screen Riser if you needed one to retract down but can't think of anywhere I'd use it, was thinking on Arcade cab, apart from Motorbike Sim and would I need it to move?, fixed would be fine in front of the bike really

Any ideas or anyone make use of it before it's stripped down

Thats what I was picturing, those beds with TV when thinking about use for it but not something I'd want

I imported one of those years ago with the B16 as a cheap test before getting a skyline, never ended up getting the skyline.

The roof was a cool trick but the boot opening was a stupid compromise.

Ah that's a shame you didn't get Skyline, Cool Japanese cars are. it's not easiest access to getting things in/out compared to manual roof but I do like having the Electric one, a bit like Outrun when people still say it's Hydraulic Moving Cab, I love it when people state Transtop has 20 motors and so complicated it will go wrong yet it's got 4 motors and one of them is the boot lock mechanism
