I see on another post that DanP has taken to calling D an Arsehole/Moron, now I thought better of you than that, resorting to childish name calling...

Not guilty m'lud, the identity of the phantom PM spammer wasn't known at that time. The fact that a collector couldn't continue a PM conversation because of said spammer wasn't likely to make me too charitable. I guess what you need to ask yourself is how would you have felt if someone did the same on J+? Pretty peeved I'm sure and rightly so.

Dan

Dan like I keep saying it happens all the time on j+, we just let it go, and this is not just new users, we don't put PM restrictions on accounts, people can send PM's from the day they join and are not restricted, there are bigger things to worry about than people sending a few PM's

Like I just said to Rav, you have made a bigger noise as possible with this, branding it as some kind of "hack attack" to make it sound worse than it is...

How do you all cope in real life, if something like this has got you all wound up

did we get an apology when your Admin hacked and took down J+, no of course not

If you haddnt deleted the thread on your own forums and thus removed the evidence that I DID openly apologise you wouldnt be in the position to accuse us of that.

And yes, we have deliberately ring fenced you as maximum precaution as you seem hellbent only on causing arguments and bring no value to being a contributing member. So your 40 and retired - thats why you've got nothing better to do than waste everyones time evidently.

so lets just leave it there...

Seconded, kindly crawl back under the rock from whence you came

Guys I don't think this really should be a public argument, be it on JAMMA+ or on UKVAC.

It is obvious that there are differences between the two sets of admin teams which just simply aren't going to go away. Certainly not by way of a debate on a public forum.

If nothing else, I suggest that both sides just make an agreement not to make any more of this nonsense public. If you really need to carry on taking digs at one another can this not be done by PM or on the phone seeing as you all seem to have access to each others numbers.

I'm sure the majority of members on both sites are just fed up of it now, it's boring and frankly puts a downer on the whole collecting scene.

Awww Rav come on now you know you are lying, you did not apologise, you shouted the fact that the attack was nothing to do with ukvac, and DEMANDED we say sorry to you..
smiley36.gif

The thread has not beed deleted it's still there, your post has gone because after you sent me that rather abusive PM on J+ asking me to remove you, your post went....

I have still got all the emails from the thread if you wish me to dig them out and prove you wrong...

I am not causing arguements, I am as usual stating facts to which you don't seem to want to hear so as such just try and shout me down...

You just post your own version of events that you think has happened and when someone says different they get added to the "monitored user" list and told to go away, and you say J+ is run by a load of Nazi's

2. Certain "ukvac" members have been caught by J+ admin sending recruitment PM's on J+, we know this from the reports we recieved, this goes on all the time on pretty much every forum on the net either from spam bots or members trying to recruit new users.

I pointed a guy in the direction of ukvac as another source of advice... not some recruitment drive just trying to be helpful. Found out as a result that 'ukvac' is in J+'s swear filter. Now that's childish.

I am not arguing, I am answering the post that are being thrown at me, like I said before if I wanted to argue I would have mass quoted all the previous threads and pulled them to pieces....

I was simply pointing out that this is funny and they are making something very big out of something very small, just like a tardis

The reason for this has been answered 100 times already, I am not going into it again...:)

I suspect the J+ membership can now look forward to a lot of interesting pm's from lots of new Chinese/Nigerian friends now that you've advertised that fact to the world.

Just out of curiosity, what was the answer? I think I've missed it in all the other posts. My opinion is that getting around the silly swear filter thing to get UKVAC into a post would be so easy that having it in place is actually pointless.

Andy.

It's funny isn't it, the last time I posted the edit facility was taken away, and I was told "it's only for this post", now I make some more posts, being nice and stating facts and I am "monitored user"

Ohhh well it keeps them happy

So much hate, I did have a lot of respect for you, I asked you a simple question on J+ which was "Why do you keep calling J+ Admin Nazi's", "If the J+ is so bad why do you keep posting here"

To which you replied "you are a c*nt, and a Nazi J+ is crap, I am leaving please delete my account and I hope you rot in hell" (shortened version it was a very long winded post)

Now where that came from I have no idea, I have never said a bad word about you before that, I brought cabs off you, waited 6 hours for you to turn up at the Barn last time you were down and suddenly I am a Nazi and a c*nt....

Ohhh well....
