I'm not the best at spelling but even I can spell Combat, it's not Kombat (or Wombat) so when I came across this shambles of a control panel I thought I'd better put it write.

I thought long and hard for 20 seconds and decided not to mess with the original game name, the use of the letter K has a certain appeal but I did notice some mistakes I needed to correct and make it better than the original.

As you can see on the original, if you press the joystick down it says duck - I know for a FACT there are no ducks in that game, unless it's a special fatality move? I replaced the wording with 'crouch' - much better and more accurate. Also the original has no text at all for the diagonals, maybe the artist fell asleep or his pen ran out? we'll never know. Again this is fixed so anyone with a Mortal C/K/Wombat cabinet can print this off and fix it.

I wish you all a super fly weekend.

Welcome back. I'm sure we'd all like to go to the Fantasy Zone with Harriet.

I meant to ask - with all this art on-show...are you a shop?

Slow down there John Bennett - am I a shop? I mean I'm not physically a shop no. But if you send me your rare artwork I can stick it through "the process" and you might be able to purchase my work. Which technically belonged to you but I've transformed it so it doesn't belong to you any more. Life is complicated hey? I will of course send you a fax of your original artwork before I burn it.

Do you know what I've been working on? Weellll, inspired by another thread on UKVAC (this place is great by the way) I've started my own line in Arcade Foil. I was chatting to Dave the other day and we'd run out of foil so I had to go to Aldi (always wear a mask folks) to get some more. As I crossed off my shopping list with my sharpie pen it struck me ....

Not only can you use it to catch the drips from your bacon on a Sunday morning, give it a wipe, cut out the handy decals and you can affix them to the rear of your candy cabinets with sticky tape for that authentic look.

Now we are "cooking on gas"!!!!
