After 6-7 years work, the devs have release Renegade X

Basically (for those who don't know..) , it's the old C&C Renegade game, remade in the UT3 engine.

It's completely free (no DLC, no "buy useful weapons with real cash" etc).

Well worth a look , and if you played the original or were/are a fan of the C&C games then even more so. Wandering around in 1st person, in a world that previously was top down RTS, is so cool!

Plenty of different characters/weapons, vehicles, Nuke or Ion Cannon strike beacons etc etc etc

It's great isn't it, captures the feel of the original but on a modern engine.

I've not had a chance to play for a few months ,need to get some time on it again. There's mods for it if you get the SDK, someone made a GDI Titan
