I do like giving the mag a read each month, usually something in it worth reading.

Just curious about the prices they've quoted, mainly the Mega Man X collection available on USA PS2 and GameCube.

They quoted the US PS2 version costing £2.50+ and the US GameCube version costing £11+

WTF!!!

Are these the lowest ever prices?? EBay or another site???

PS2 US version is usually at least £12+

GameCube US version is usually £30 to £40+

So where are these mysterious prices coming from???

Can I 'trust' the other prices quoted when the Mega Man X collection prices are way off?

I'd always take printed price-guides for such a fast-moving market with a pinch of salt.

Also, and unless I'm mistaken, quite a few of the articles in mags like this are commissioned overseas and adapted for local markets or written by free-lancers. So although the information could have been correct (and perhaps still is in, say the US), it's now many months out of date...

That's true. I've just checked ebay.com, and PS2 version is about $12 and GameCube $20.

Would be good if they quoted the source for the prices, say ebay.com June 2020, just for an idea

Yeah, good point, and very good practice.

Hope one of the staffers is reading!
