Just grabbed it and tried it. Didn't get very far, it appears to be online only. Couldn't see any offline single player mode.

Really? I had a quick go on the tutorial and I was fighting against AI opponents at one point. Found the controls difficult playing handheld, but will give it another go later playing with my pro controller on the TV.

Yeah, I had a go at the tutorial, but couldn't find anything else.
At least by having a go, I have discovered the Tinfoil installer, so I now know how to play games that are forcing system firmware updates.
