REVIVAL For The Gamers 2020 Pt.1 - 7/8 Mar, W.Mids

Just settling down after a long day.
Yesterday was a bit of a panic and rush for me, I was held up a bit at work and couldn't be there when my cab was picked up. But Robotech and Shane were there to save the day and were such a massive help, they helped me far and beyond the call of duty. Thanks so much guys.
This event I actually had time to relax a bit and play some of the retro computers. Really enjoyed playing the amazing arcade conversions on the BBC and had a nice couple of games on Asteroids on the vectrex. Who knew the BBC could play such an amazing conversion of Phoenix, amazing!!!

I did a walk around video on Sunday morning.
I really enjoyed this one, nice vibe, nice peeps and I managed to get a play on everything I wanted to on Sunday morning all due to Chunksin's and Shane's help on Friday and Saturday.
Unfortunately I can't make the next one due to work.

It was fun meeting folks again chatting and playing games this time round
Which normally dosent happen at the bigger revivals
I quite enjoyed the last minute monitor swap before the public were let in
shame the loverly pink tube in the daytona 2 marquee lasted about 20 seconds
But ians cab held up perfectly and got hammered all day
Thanks to everyone involved in making the event what it was (more cabs next time please)
And i seem to have gained a roll of sellotape from somewhere ,bonus

I had a good weekend again
Had a small catch up with SMF and a few others which was good.
Picked up a AV mod’d famicom and a power glove for shiz and giggles as well as a new CRT TV.
Had some good chats with random people and played some games.

Thanks to all you guys who supported us by providing machines such as Luke, Ian, Shane, Rich, Vic and Andy; really helped us create a quite humble, but enjoyable, arcade area that was always busy. Thanks to everyone else who came and enjoyed what was a real social meet and probably one of the only chances most will get to have this Summer; I’m just bummed I couldn’t be there myself but glad I got in and out of hospital before light beer disease panic set in.
If all goes well I hope to see many of you at VACfest in May or if this drags on, Revival 2020 Part 2 in November!
