Sadly we have to announce that a past member 'Dink' passed away back at the end of October. He was older than a lot of us (early 50's), however far too young. As I'm sure others did, I had dealings with him on occasions and he was a nice guy.

He was more active on Jamma+ but was a member here since 2005, and had not been active for some time. I believe there is a photo of him in their members section (or was the last time I was there).

Alpha1 found this out through FaceBook. I don't know if any details are known.

Obviously our thoughts are with his family and friends.

That is terrible news, it's always sad to hear bad news like this, very young as well in the grand scheme of things, it really does make you think you don't know what is round the corner. IndyJones2013-12-09 11:59:40

I won't pollute this thread, but yeah, also spooky after a conversation we had in the small hours of Saturday AM about what would happen in the event of...

Very sad news indeed. Dink was a colourful character, I never had the pleasure of meeting him but I remember having a few PM conversations in the past with him and he seemed a genuinely nice guy. RIP Dink.
