Robotron Sticks

Not sure if i've posted this in the correct thread but i'm hopefully gonna be building a scratch replica Robotron (Euro) at some point,so i'm slowly gathering up bits and pieces but i'm having trouble finding a decent set of joysticks...I have read that Wicos seem to be the correct ones to go for but if I can't get 'proper Wicos' something near would be good enough...I've read on KLOV that they are 4 1/2" ones and all I can seem to find is smaller ones...I'm after using leaf switches and not microswitch.....

I have found some sticks but they ain't wicos but seem to be a good 'match' so to speak...these are found on http://www.gamestencils.com/index.php?crn=228&rn=563&action=show_detail

Are these a 'not bad' price ? or does anyone know anywhere else ? It does say that these are 5 1/2" sticks but I guess that once fitted the part of the stick below the 'ridge' so to speak will be inside the CP

Picked up a job lot of Atari sticks various shapes and sizes,
Nearest one is 4 7/8" from ball to end of shaft.
1.450" at 9/16" Diameter.
2.108" stepping down to .262" Diameter.
20£ Pair inc postage in UK.

You're going to struggle immensely for real Wico long shaft sticks for Robotron. I've been looking for a pair for my genuine cab for the last two years and whenever they come up they're silly money and not usually in great condition.

So I'm probably going to have to end up with something sh*t instead!

The Robo long shaft Wicos were reproduced in the USA last year and were listed on KLOV. I grabbed a pair and wish i'd got more of them now for us lot as they weren't expensive.

I can see proper wico's being a pain to source so I ended up ordering a set of the ones I put up the link to,fair do's they ain't the real mcoy but they look good enough for my needs
