Not sure if it was a fluke or if I just managed to get 'in the zone' for that game last night, but I've had a couple of goes this morning and can barely get past 400k!
I seem to play arcade games at my best when I'm just 'having a quick go', and when I got this score last night, the wife and kids were in the room playing '20Q' and asking me questions while I was playing. So maybe that's the key - DON'T concentrate too much on the game!

Get yourself down to AC mate, you'll enjoy it, but more importantly I need some Defender and Roby coaching from!

After getting my Robotron cab up and running i've been playing quiet a lot of it and managed to beat my all time score by some 400,000 ....well chuffed....
a respectable 1,971,650
on 5 setting (not as good as Qubit) but i'm getting better...Wave 64 I reached as well...Done using a Jrok board as well...

Great score makes my 240k look rather pathetic. in my defense it's the cocktail version

Had a very busy couple of weekends (birthdays, birthdays, birthdays, Holy Communion, more birthdays) but hopefully will be getting to AC this weekend, probably on the Sunday, though.
Need my arcade fix.
