Had a blistering game of Robotron today (i've been playing pretty crap on it over the last week or so averaging just over a million each time
)
Anyhow the wife buggered off to work today around 8.30am so I had a quick bowl of cereal and a little blast on my PS1 (been playing the Medievil games again and just finished Medievil 2 again) so I fired up my Robotron cab expecting the same humdrum game again and (this was around 9.45am...
And some 7hrs 15mins later I came off after having the game of my life

I rapped the waves around 3 times at waves 256 (the 'difficulty' resets back to the original wave 1 for those who don't no) and built it back upto wave 61 so its like I got to wave 829 if you counted the waves continusely...
I almost had 'Game Over' around the 2mill mark as a couple of times I were down to my last man....
I 'killed' the game off at this score cause I were knackered and hungrey
the way the game was playing I could have carried on easily,my life count rarely dropped below 30 (I use the Tiedie Jrock rom set board so you can see how many men you have...)
The Dip settings are the same as last time...
Difficulty....setting 5 (recommended)
Extra life every 25,000
3 man start to the game
Again the High score table will only show 9,999,999 which is a shame really,it would have been better if when they recoded the tiedie set to be able to put up your name etc...with the actual score you got
