Rule of thumb, how much does martin charge

So say i wanted a machine coming from mainland uk, about 150 miles distance, how mcuh would he charge on average?

I don't need him for anything yet, i just want to know for future reference, had an absolute nightmare today with the M6 and now getting a machine out my car

Flat rate around £120ish now I heard recently.

I’ve not used him in a good few years now. He was about £80 last time.

cheers, sounds very reasonable TBH, was looking at the price of hiring a van and then there is the hassle of driving...lesson learnt, next time just use Martin

the only downside is you don't get to meet some of the great people on here and their collections

Depends on machine
Driver single cab gonna be bit more due to size ,
Small cabaret's bit less

He has done monitors for me for £50, solo
But only £20 combined with a cab ..
So all round totally fair and great value ..

I still do the whole hire van thing when I can for fun 😁

let me tell you, a 4 hour round trip yesterday took me 7 hours, if i never have to drive on the M6 again i will die a happy man, at one point i had to put my car in park for about 30 minutes

But we drive to Spain and back

oh i dont mind driving, it i am not stuck in traffic for 3 hours

i have driven to and around Europe a few times now, but the M6 on Friday was just the worst ever, and then you drive past the incident and its someone driving a car as old as the hills
