Scud Race Beginner

Hi guys,

My cab is currently in a few bits as I replace some parts.

However I have been playing it quite a bit recently and really paring down my times, although I still find it a hard game compared to some.

So, I turned to this section to see what scores the 'professionals' were capable of to give me something to aim at when I'm up and running again, but there isn't a thread, so I thought I would start one.

As soon as I can I'll screen shot my best times.

Well I can complete the 1st 2 Courses in good time

Scud takes a while to get used to driving and when I first got my twin I thought I'd never complete a course in 1st position

I did however manage to play the 1st 2 courses to the point I would get 1st position every time! I would have to wait till it warms up again to add some scores though

I know what you mean, bbz149.

1st place seems impossible at first!

But with perseverance and practice, to nail the corners and powering out of a drift, it becomes possible.

Which is one of the points I like about the game. Having said that I am still to even finish the three laps on the last course!

Just fired mine up inspired by this thread sadly all my best times had been lost as it's been a long time since I played but just getting back into it, struggling to upload my pics tho atm.

Mine is in bits just now waiting to receive my shiny new subwoofer.

I know that I have only came first on the first two tracks and 3rd is my best on the third track.

I'll post my times once I get my cab back together.

Hey! Good show. I thought no one was interested. I have nearly got my cab back together. Boards are back in, dash back on, newly refurb footboard done and just waiting for new subwoofer to land and then I'm on it.

Bring it on. I might just fire her up tonight minus the seat and post a photo of whatever my pitiful efforts are to hopefully inspire others

Right then.

Fired up the cab this morning, minus seat and other bits but snagged some photos.

Good news. Cab works after putting back together.
Bad news. Need to shave a second off here and there.

The gauntlet has been laid and hopefully some others will join in. Here's my screen shots (for now!)
