Doctors to me is just a huge money making racket, you got there, explain a few things and come away with a prescription or 5, partner has few heath issues and them lot have got her on 20 tablets a day, probably be a quarter of that but you have side effects from em all so then you have more tablets etc to sort that and it goes on

She has another problem now with pain down centre of chest, as said only get phone call chat with them, shes already been hospital to have a few tests which are all fine, if they check her records they mentioned this problem year or 2 back when one at hospital pressed area and obviously hurt bad yet they cant diagnose anything, i asked her to tell me exactly what pain like, where etc as its worry as you think heart or lung issues, i found someone saying about certain condition they had on internet and shes read it all and said that Described exactly what pain she has, contacted doctors again and mentioned it to them and they just say yeah sounds like you have that, forget name now but starts chron or something, so now we have to diagnose own condition

Then like my line of work repairing stuff, and same with my dad when he was at work, out of all jobs ive done and places worked there has been a few people that are capable of doing the job they paid to do, 95% of them are complete morons that i have to follow round finishing their crap off, other 4% are like me, do a decent job but because of the idiots dont really make effort then there is 1% that genuinely are brilliant and out off all places i worked there has been probably 5 people that were genuinely brilliant at the job and all i see at doctors is same, if your lucky you'll see the 4% that are really good, and if you see the 1% your in excellent hands

I think the doctors have ruined her life with all these damn pills and they referred her to hospital one day, inhad to go pick her up and sit down there for hours, because she was lying down, postie at the door so she jumps up quick, gets to door, goes dizzy and faints, with all that crap she's on, doesn't eat properly half time, coupled with getting up quick and going downstairs, thats all it is, expert doctor at hospital actually saw her and checked few things, described what happened to him and he said exactly same as me, so you got up quick etc so wasted everyones time, no wonder hospitals full

Something else that annoys me when they bang on about if it wasnt for all the foriegn people that work in hospital where would we be, well u think about it now

We have people working in them from poorer countries, why though, oh yeah because we pay crap so half the nurses clear off to new New Zealand and Australia for better life and money, then all these have to move to uk for better life and money, they send half the money back to thier families, then government want to give em 1% payrise, if they paid better half wouldn't emigrate and the money they earn would be spent here, well done Government you double ruin the country and NHS

That brings me back to half the other stuff where this country is a joke, why are they giving free school meals to everyone, you wouldn't need footballers raising the issue of some that cant afford to feed them in holidays if you just gave meals to families that are on low wages, why are we handing out free stuff to families earning 80k a year and taking kids to school in range rovers, same with money for kids on low end of autistic spectrum and also giving money to people that dont work because just lazy

If they sorted all this out the NHS wouldn't be under funded or councils, though i'm sure these councils waste tond of money, state of the roads, where does all the car tax money go and the fuel duty tax

Electric cars there getting people to buy now, its not even that cheap to run them like Clarkson said on grand tour, 8nquid to charge one to get 100 miles, cars can do that now on 8 quid of fuel, yes it saves on emmissions but then u have battery issue, thats before they have lost capacity and they are so expensive to replace so cars will surely be scrapped far sooner or wrote off quicker

So when half country are in electric cars and there loosing billions in fuel tax where they gonna get money from? tax on electricity? Pay per miles driven, will have to come from somewhere so will cost more than now

Its all madness and will only get worse

i luckily have not needed a standard GP visit for years but just lately as you know i had a triple heart bypass so now have prescriptions to fill regular but still the receptionists seem to believe they are more qualified than the GP to advise how long you need wait for an appointment...... If GP patient symptom discussion is confidential WHY DOES THE RECEPTIONIST NEED TO ASK FOR ALL THE DETAILS OF YOUR ILLNESS or INJURY ???? (gives them something to chat about while the pre-tape answering says you are 5th / 4th in a queue and we will answer soon as we (finish our sandwich and coffee and gossip) are available to take your 'urgent' call an hour later when we have asked all the details of your ailment instead of passing you an appointment to see the GP .....

somehow they managed to 'invent a reason' for me to go see a nurse tomorrow just to have my blood checked they rang me as my pre diabetes reported from the hospital is a bit higher than average range ( full of no decent food lost appetite just drugs and robinson's fruit juice cordial.).......... pity they couldn't fit me in years ago with chest pains so they went ignored and ended in a heart attack ...THEYT RANG ME and our landline crackles so rang them back, on mobile 4th in queue for 35 minutes " WHAT ARE YOU RINGING FOR????? " you rang me its your number and you could not hear me your end so hung up on me " oh just hold for another 10 minutes while i ask the doctor ? we have no record here... " wow ........ came back with an appointment in 5 days from last thursday and they initiated the whole thing ??

worst thing is just lately TV adverts say long time cough (not covid) could be early signs of cancer? see you GP , blood in your urine could be prostate issues see your GP could be cancer etc? like they all have all the time in the world .. we know its a busy time and some GPs are swamped with patients but when you see the GP he says " come back and see me next week when the swelling goes down" etc. SO YOU LEAVE THE GP stand at the receptionist asking for same time next week " NO CHANCE DEAR can you do 7 weeks on thursday at 5.55pm we might squeeze you in at end of surgery" when you know they are going to get delayed by at least 2 hours and sit around till 8pm??? in the waiting room, or you miraculously cured it yourself .. never showed for the appointment AND THEY NAME AND SHAME YOU on the door and windows ....... >> """ 94 people failed to keep appointment last week """ so why cant they fit you in then? thats 19 a day ! over a 5 day surgery

of those 94 probably some got worse and died or healthy , or moved house waiting for their turn to come round. i got my first covid invitation last feb and rang up and got told we are not doing your group 5 any more? over 65 unless you are over 50 and vulnerable? phone 119 ........... and get offered st Helens RUFC 40 miles away with zero transport links..... however i waited 2 weeks and when my wife in next group down got hers she just booked me as well saying they 'missed me out' 5 miles up road at Morrisons winsford in and out in a few minutes BOTH DONE TWO VISITS as suggested and protected

these adverts pop up almost every break some days in between the ones for purely cremation (£950) and sun life save £4 a week towards a funeral that could cost you £5000 ( so you in fact save about £200 a year so you would need to live and pay in for 25 years and by then its inflated to treble?) there's the guy who says they are so great in value he has 2 WHY ????????? surely double up on 1? he probably thinks he needs two pairs of binoculars with his £100 vouchers which are only awarded after you pay in more than that anyway -- just go out and buy the gift NOW - if you want something why wait 6 months or more for a voucher? they will undoubtedly send his voucher "next door by mistake" anyway so the neighbour will bring it round to find he died weeks ago and failed to claim and got his policy cancelled when he missed a payment ?

welldone Chris another good weekend rant opportunity

but it needs airing , people are becoming too passive and being misinformed and not being treated quickly and respectfully as they once were some years ago .. i sometimes think its too easy for the GP if he does see you to then refer you for tests or a specialist just to reduce their workload and pass the buck?

as for electric cars ................... ouch! can you see the busy side streets fully parking clogged and high rise flats etc streaming with charger cables in extension cables all over the towns and suburbs,, how many of us are lucky to have a drive or off road parking with a handy plug ? and some will have 2 or 3+ cars in the family and already they say go with edf energy and charge up for just under a fiver a night?????? thats £15+ a night to charge the family fleet .as said where is the revenue tax to come from they lost ££££££££££££ s on cigarette reduced sales already . ?

. we will come back to this i am sure when more of us have real experience and facts to share

but don't worry,if you come over on a dingy you get designated health officials to help you whilst us pricks that have paid thousands into this sh*t system get f** all

Don’t believe the Tory right-wing lies mate. Blaming people who are fleeing war or persecution, who are simply exercising their right - enshrined in international law - to life (and maybe the chance at a better one) shifts focus from those who are really to blame - Tory scum who under-fund and sell off our public assets any chance they get.

If your looking for a general rule in life, it’s don’t vote Tory - I’d sooner rip my toenail off and try get in to see my GP than cast a vote for those c**ts
