I had this problem last year where the red colour was gone from the image.... found the problem was sorted by my pushing on the tube board.
This happened again a couple of time during this year.
Now it's got cold again (It's in my garage) I've lossed the red again but pushing on the board, taking of and putting back on hasn't fixed it.
The pins look in good con so I decided to spray the Sockets for the pins in a little contact cleaner..... now I've lost the green as well lol.
Do you think it just needs a real good clean with more contact clearer as dislodging dirt has made it worse but if I spray more i can get the dirt out?
Or is spraying the socket a bad idea?

Thank you for all your help
Chris

Or a dry joint.
Yeh , sounds like it ..
if your confident with working
Around monitors /tv’s you can either turn it all off remove chassis , look for
Cracked solder joints , if like you say you have removed neck pcb in previous years you might want to check the contacts inside the crt socket on the kneck pcb itself as the contacts could have been bent to open?, just trying to rule out at other possibility’s.

you could try very gently just apply a tiny bit of presssure on the kneck pcb
With a long non conductive implement.

If you have a contact issue within the crt socket this may highlight it.

But just be very gentle try doing it with another person to as you can ask them to look at the screen for you so your not
Stressing out trying to look at mirror and gently touching the kneck card while cab in operation ,
And take care working around your cab

All solder points on the crt socket check well

Thank you.... all ready have tried the wiggling the neck board while my wife was watching.... that sounds so wrong!
The marchine is in a bit of a awkward place for me to access the back so once it warms up I'll get a soldering iron in there and make sure there no cracked joints.
Thank you for your help

If it was my cab I would get that chassis out and ask Grant if he would service it, looks like a Nanao so perfect for a tune up.

He did a brilliant job of servicing a few for me.
