Sega Naomi Universal Cabinet - PLEASE HELP

Hello dear community, Please need Help with Sega Naomi Universal Cabinet:

Please not understand why when i click the Button TEST SWITCH Button on Sega Naomi Cabinet not works, not goes into TEST MODE of Naomi 2.

The strange thing is that the DEMAG button works. Why? what is the Solution? Please need Help.

Another thing that only now i see it it's normal that in Sega I/O board the 2 Lights are RED?

A quick fix -
open the door where the naomi 2 is.

And on the front there is the 2 buttons test/service.

(top left)

See if that works

once in test do a JVS test to test all buttons.

Possible the I/o has an issue. Usually get a replacement from £35

so the issue for you can be the i/o board or this panel? (attach image)

That button in your pic wires up to the I/o along with the other buttons. (demag - straight to monitor and 110v I believe)

It could be a bad button, loose connection also

if all works via the main console and not the red button....

Personally I'd remove the panel holding said red buttons.

and try and test by removing wires from the button and touching them together. If that doesn't work, problem most likely on I/o, and if it does work, most likely the red button needs replacing.

OR - I would just use the one on the console, and leave changing red button as a job to do & I don't get round to! (more honest answer)
