Sega PCB quiz

ok people..

I pride myself on being able to identify 99% of pcbs that come across
my path, often just by eye, but this one has me stumped, despite all
its numbers, you'd think it would be easy to identify, but i can't
narrow it down and get a definitive answer....

ok, so the pcb is pretty small, 8 pin header connectors on it, like a
sound board, but has no pots or analoguey components (well apart from
a small section).

The pcb is etched with SEGA 97270-P, it has one 2708 eprom that says
EPR-613, and 9 small proms marked PR 58 through 66 in sockets. The
board is also stamped in ink with 801 223, the IC manufacture dates
vary around 1979..

so... don't take wild stabs in the dark, lets see some thoughtful answers...

I presume you've googled all of the serial numbers. How about a photo?

I just worked out ow to yous my pooter and fought i'd arkks yous lots
what it woz.

Yes i have searched sega prom/board lists, and googled extensively...

Someone may recognise it from their machine or manual or whatever, or
know something about sega pcbs that i just havn't found on the net, i
know there are people out there that get into their speedos and rub
their sega pcbs on their dinkles, so i was hoping one of 'them' might
know...

Id sooner rub a sega pcb solder side up on my dinkles than let you near
them!
