Sega Rally 2

Aside from a few quick runs I've seen on youtube (3.57/3.59), I cant see much re high scores for Sega Rally 2. Just wondering what peoples best times are?

I seem to have plateaued at 4.10ish, best 4.09.60 and struggling to get thay error free run!

I don't think I ever had 4 clean runs on sega rally. Bloody annoying

Im well behind that. Have a pic on my phone of 4.16.77 which I think is my fastest time. Would be good to get a bit of a high score comp going on.

This is my best, but mostly 4.10-4.12ish.

For some reason my machine has only just started to hold high scores..

your a fair bit quicker than me, yeah im still having the same issue. Game saves all the settings but not high scores.

Its Mountain stage for me : I can get 56/57 on Desert, and 1:02 on Snow, but am stuck up at 1:06 on Mountain.

I dont mind too much - as its by far the best stage IMO, but need to work out what I'm doing wrong!

If its only started saving high scores - does this mean that you can now access the other 2 cars? think you need 50 races or something?

Yes I can access the celica and lancia, I think maybe the internal battery needed charging or something but no expert?

For the mountain stage, the key is the first
hair pin as you can lose loads of time there.. I try to use this technique here with the handbrake although still poor compared to this guy.
