Had to do a mad 2 days of tidying up so this isn't in back of car for weeks like the bath was

Picked this up from Penrhos as hopefully a quick project so i'm rebuilding it and cleaning in the process

While I was sorting the mess and it wasn't raining for once it was time to get the Millipede out of my Hallway which has been there for years and dino king as I want to put back internal wooden door so I have a porch back again, couldn't move it last couple of years as cars stuck in way

So now I have some hallway space which has big Hifi Speakers in it already but more room than before to clean parts and some room to build the SR3 up in extension
Need to move this Simpson Fruit machine on too, working apart from the Alpha Display but I got an East Enders one which I wasn't going to spend loads of money buying, bought cheaper Simpsons, of course not long after an East Enders came up so bought that anyway doh

@TheDaddy
I was hoping this might help motivate you into doing some work on your Ridge Racer Dave :) as well as It's seemed rather quiet on the forum so far this year, apart from For Sale and Wanted posts like

Have you managed to glue the corner of the CP back on ok?

The reason I got the SR3 in the first place was how well it stripped down as i had to get it through a couple of doors and into the garage (as i sealed the garage door shut).

LMK if you want either of the 32" screens I have spare. Think the 1080P touchscreen would be handy for a multi-racèr.

Looking great ! You have been cracking on this week my friend !
I could do with setting you to graze in my work shop for a few days 😂

Well it keeps me warm doing this so I don't need Heating on and making a change from plumbing jobs in bathroom
That would be much more fun than going work :)

I haven't yet, was looking what clearance it has when it's together and then probably fibreglass it from inside, wouldn't really see it then

Had no experience with these later Sega Cabs so it's nice to know they come apart plenty, that's what I really like about well designed Sega stuff, I saves on expensive van hiring for a cheap cab as that just ramps up costs, specially if you have to move it twice. If I hadn't got my Twin Driving cab already I would have bought 2 of these, it's nice to work on :)

If I had more spare or less original cabs I'd have another one like these or that Planet Harriers cab on ebay for Flight type games like Blazing Angels, Afterburner Climax etc

Couldn't help but strip down control panel and clean it all, the wheel was a little loose anyway so apart it came
Plenty of dust behind it all

Oh nice, someone shoved chewing gum in hole for last screw on shifter cover

For reference the belt number
took this off to soak in some silicone spray, was creaking when wheel turned which is annoying
A lot cleaner now, took button caps off to clean them also

Put it all back together then found steering shaft spacer I'd forgot about so wheel needs to come off again

Was a job getting the wheel off the boss, screws had thread lock on them, that's okay but can be hard to undo some bolts with it on, I thought I'd use spring washer on bolts instead

Control Panel back on, time to connect everything up and see what happens

I was thinking of sticking battocera in it as from V40 it supports wheels.

Technoparrot might also be an option.

The PC it came with should be capable of running most games I7-3770 + 8gb ddr4 + 120gb + GT1030 (this might be a bit weedy for later stuff).

Only issue would be getting ffb working as uses printer port on europa pc for SR3.

Do a stripped win 10/11 build and Bigbox, every emu just works that way.
