It's so great and it's the sort of space I'd love to have one day.

I see you can't add much more though with all those lovelies. Did you ever look into the feasibility of expanding the basement?

The only way to expand would be to buy the house next door and knock through. There basement is identical to mine

Do you have a garden at one side of the house?

If so, I guess in theory you could run a stepped corridor (hence not compromising the house foundations) from the existing basement into a new lower dug basement and then cover over again so that the garden remains as-is.

It's a bit 'James Bond' and very expensive though no-doubt!

(I only wish I had a basement like yours

Afternoon Gents

I had the pleasure of welcoming Alexis Crowley and Tony
Temple in to the Basement to do articles on Nintendo Arcade (You Tube) and arcadeblogger.com
respectively.

Here’s a link to the article Tony wrote what has a link to
Alexis video

https://arcadeblogger.com/2018/08/07/gameroom-tour-the-les-potts-collection/

(could Admin sort a Clicky out for the above link please)

Hope you Enjoy

Cheers Les

Les, what a fantastic job you’ve done on converting your basement!
The line up of cabs you’ve got is amazing and they all look in pristine order.

I read Tony’s excellent article only yesterday and I’m half way through watching Alex’s video. I really like the subtle space invaders images on the walls and all the memobilia too.

I would really love that amount of space and would find it hard leave if it was mine!

Les - a stunning cabinet collection surely one of the best personal collections in the UK. Great article by Tony too of course. I’m based in Warrington in Cheshire not too far away from you so if you ever have an open event for forum members I would love to attend !

Cheers

I was wondering why this room didn’t place in the recent ‘games room of the year competition’.

The competition was x9 very similar rooms based on a pool table, 1 multi-arcade, dartboard and bar!

Possibly needed to join a football supporters club to secure enough votes.......????
