D'aaaargh- I took the radio silence as "no tickets left"!

Weekend pass = first time I've been let off the leash to come over for a VAC event.
I have 3 young kids and a Belgian wife....
She's lovely and all, but that whole cultural mix of Dutch/Germanic and French/Latin - getting a full weekend pass leaving her with the kids is about as rare as hen's teeth on top of a pile of rocking horse poo...

It also happens to be my birthday, but at my age I'm happy to postpone it

Now I need to start looking for travel + accommodation. Seriously looking forward to this!!!

Anunaki - how/when/where you going over and staying?

Ocb, we fly Saturday 10:00 from Schiphol with easy jet to Manchester. We pick up a rental car and drive straight to the arcade club. We sleep in the Best Western Old Mill hotel. That is a 1 minute drive. We fly back to Holland Sunday evening

Joking aside.

The "keep it respectful" comment is that we are gonna be there to enjoy AC hospitality , it's amazing collection of games, meet up with VACers from near and far. I certainly have no intention of getting trashed out my box. A few English ales for sure though!!!

Ah - I get it now. I thought for a second that the (genuine but very humorous) town name of "Ramsbottom" had been lost in translation - and you thought that Anunaki was being rude!

I'm a Scot. Bonkle was just up the road. I was born in Smellie's hospital. Priest Holes were everywhere. Etc.

Rather fitting that I live close to Holleken (Little hole) and Eigenbrakel (sounds a bit like "sh.. myself" if you add an s in the middle)
