Was an epic meet! Big thanks to everyone who organised it, Andy for creating an awesome venue and thanks to the Sky Skipper crew for making it special too.

It’s not everyday you gather amongst a crowd of tanked-up baldies with a ‘Congratulations’ balloon tied to your wrist and a mate shouting ‘looks like a boot!’ as a long-dead vintage arcade machine is resurrected!! Good times. Goading mates at the pinnacle of an achievement is always pretty special

‘We love you Alex!’. Not sure what the kiddies playing Mario Kart and FIFA thought was going on around them though... I think we made an impression as I swear I saw one stand up for a second and look over (but then again he might have just been adjusting himself

)

Had a good couple of games of Ms.Pac with DaveO and vs Balloon Fight was great on the red tent. Finished the evening playing some awesome target shooting game (Namco Quick & Crash) with Jim Bagley, he-is-Jimmi and Neil-20-to-5 (Jim I’m not sure the Next needs a light-gun game but I know that’s what you were thinking!!).

Same time next year then?Nes4life2017-10-15 08:49:58

Great meet again, lovely food and staff too, Thanks Andy for hosting it and I'm looking forward to what next year brings to Arcade Club too.

I had to leave early so I didn't get to see the Sky Skipper reveal, hope someone uploads it to youtube?
I did play too and it was very disappointing this year I dont think I'll bother with it next time

Oh, I'm glad it wasn't just me then, it felt like the arcade machines were just an after thought, might just stick to the Blackpool event from now on.

I did like the atmosphere of Play with the 80s music- but yeah did feel like not much care was put into it. Faulty games left right and centre as well as someone accidentally switching the entire back row of vids off.

What a great day and evening....

Massive thanks to Alex and all those that made it happen with special mention to Andy and his team for their hard work and hospitality.

And what a turnout - not only from all corners of the UK, but representation from Sweden, Switzerland, the USA and of course the "getting bigger every year" contingent from the Netherlands!

The Sky Skipper reveal was of course the cherry... and how gorgeous was that cab?

And yes - the Namco Quick and Crash - just brilliant.

Really hope this continues as a regular annual event - make it so...

Had a great time, my feet were hurting by the end of the day!

Good to meet some of you (Didn't get to say hello to everyone) had far too much beer and was probably talking lots of crap anyway.

Hope to attend future events, this time without the beer :D

Had an amazing day, and it was fantastic to meet you all and put faces to so many names. I still didn't manage to meet everyone that I've spoken to on the forum and on Twitter though, so that just means I'll have to come back next year.

Very jealous of all the people who live near Arcade Club. It's a special place. I need to go back very soon.

Well done Alex, Whitney, Olly and everyone else involved with Sky Skipper. It's been a great journey and fascinating to see it all progress.

Cheers!

Had an amazing night. The time just flew by! Was great to see a few familiar faces and say hi to some new ones too :)
Arcade Club is such an amazing place and to have some special guests along with the Sky Skipper reveal made it an extra special trip this time round.
Well done to all involved in the organisation of the reveal.

Cheers!

Was a fab, but tiring day, thank to Andy and all at arcade club and Alex and the Sky Skipper crew for putting it all together. I didn't really take many pictures at all. The Quick & Crash game was awesome.

What was on top of those pies? they were so nice.
