[SOLVED] Assault PCB PAL on 9D

Hello,

I have an namco Assault PCB and all the background is missing. Acording to the schematics there should be an PAL16L8 on socket 9D (video board). On my PCB that PAL is missing. Dose anybody have this PCB and can confirm if the PAL is present or not?

Yeah, there is a PAL there, etched: SYS2V-2.

Bad news then...

You guys know if it's protected? Don't see it on mame so I geuss it's undumped.

Could you take it out and see if all the background is gone? Would help me a lot to know if it's the only fault since I can't find any failing part on the PCB.

Burned the JED on an ATF16V8 and I got all the background. Another board saved.
