Hi all,

I was in Felixstowe today, and I popped into the Pier Amusements and found a few cabs! I didnt know that many at all were still about - especially other than the penny pusher or try to win something games found in almost every arcade I have been to for years!

There was

Time Crisis 3 twin

Manx TT Superbike twin

Maximum Tune 2 twin

Terminator Salvation ( sorry - but I didnt know that cabs were still being made!! )

The Fast and Furious twin

Sega Rally Twin

Tokyo Wars twin

Pics will be up in day or two :)

There's still cabs out there, just a fraction of what there used to be

I bet!

At the cinema we went to while at the coast also had a couple of games..

Fast and Furious twin also

and an Aliens game, that looked very much like the Terminator Salvation cab....

There is an amusements place in Leicester town, that i have not been in for years...

SO many years... I stopped going in when they got rid of VR machines and then Daytona.

I wonder whats in there now..... I`ll pop in when I am in town next and report back :)

We popped down the seafront here today 'cause the Mrs wanted to "get me out from the computer for a walk" - on one of the hottest days of the year so far, just as i was getting my teeth sunk into some in-circuit assembler debugging. Hey ho. Moving on...

Very little to report but there was a great driving game by Taito - Battle Something or Other that I put a quid into, and also in a different arcade a great motorbike game that was modern but I couldn't tell you what it was.

That was it though. £2 spent. Then we went for chips and curry sauce and sat and watch the birds on the beach (both types)

There was also Point Blank, something else, a dancing game (yawn!) and ghost recon in one arcade. In the other Sega Rally twin (new style) - switched off, Jurassic Park sit in gun game and HOTD sit in gun game. None of that takes my fancy though so it was a cheap day for me!
