Will Sony release
probably because the u.k. is a shithole for businesses,
the property taxes for comercial property can be higher than the rent - even if the building is empty and closed!
🤣🤣🤣Ai can fix that
I think I’m artificially intelligent 🧐
( actually stupid )

900 is worldwide, also affecting studios like Insomniac Games, Guerrilla, Naughty Dog, Firesprite, etc.. in the States.
Sony London had been focusing on VR titles and a kind of multiplayer online London Getaway, to try and rival GTA Online.
Microsoft also laid off 1900 a month ago.

It's a brutal time to be tech:

It's very sad that 900 jobs worldwide will be affected by the Sony layoffs and and that Sony's London studio is now closed, I hope all those people affected find new employment soon. However if I'm gonna be honest the mainstream games industry has become stagnant (as big10p said) and in my opinion this started, in the PS3 & Xbox 360 era with an obession of churning out mindless shoot-em up games, caring more about graphics than gameplay story innovation etc, releasing broken microtranscation riddled games that need day one patches to run in a satisfactory state, dlc that was a rip off and not worth the hefty prices. That's why I gave up on mainstream gaming after the PS2, Dreamcast, Gamecube & Xbox era as I see that as the last great era of console gaming.

Again, I hope everyone affected by the 2023-2024 mainstream games industry layoffs find employment soon:)

hit the nail on the head there,
any game that is 20% character creation, and 40% cut scenes needs to die.
as for microtransactions - dont even get me started on the digital-crack level shit coming out of korea!!!

It's all my nephew does is and even he said he can't be bothered with new games with loads of cut scenes and story's

Now he's getting into older games and there is enough of those to keep anyone going for life, how many actually complete all the games they have?
