Why so rigid? you can always make creative use of the space.. and some machines are dependant on which can be finished in time ;)

Also, i like how Oll is apparently orchestrating the game selection for everyone elses benefit so he can grab all the credit... a nice touch ;) Me/DanP/backflipper are still discussing the cabs we can collectively stuff in the van, might leave it to be a bit of a surprise at the end, but we'll put a provisional list up.

Pfft, my back to back offshore has gone and arranged to be Best man at some crappy wedding the weekend of the slam. Going to be stuck in the middle of the North Sea due to that.

Also if you three are bringing stuff that would be most welcome. I've not heard anything from Phil Eaton so not sure if the vid high score compos are happening.

sadly its looking like i will have to miss this, unless i win some cash on the lottery or something. i did want to go as it sounds like a great event. i did offer some cabs though, but its not viable to get them up and down the border. i might get a new van for next year, then transport wont be a problem. until then have a great weekend

That's a shame JB, but it's a long trek for you. It won't be the same without you though

. I've not met anyone from the forums before, so I'll be the little guy in his mid twenties with a beard and glasses awkwardly introducing himself to people.

I'm in!

Accommodation booked at travelodge seafront.

I should be getting the train straight from work on Friday at about 4pm and am ready for any help needed. I will be bringing the basic tools I work with but if anybody needs any parts let me know.

Should be a great weekend!

So when exactly is the Friday setup? I've emailed Will on his hotmail account but I have heard jack. I shall likely be bringing a Taitel Gyruss since after a couple of trial runs its one of the few things that'll fit in the car either that or an Electrocoin 'Centi' cabinet with a pcb or two. Either way I am at work Friday 'till 17:30 and I don't see any realistic possibility of getting out earlier. See you all there either way.

i 'believe' that due to some issues at the venue the set-up is now going to take place pretty late, around 9pm, don't quote me on that tho...

Apparently someone at the venue made a cock-up, instead of setup on Friday evening and then go for Chinese meal at about 9 or 10pm, we now have the meal starting at 6-6.30pm and then we are able to setup from 9pm onwards.

This actually works quite well for me, the missus doesn't like eating after 9pm anyway and probably doesn't care much for setting up late either, so we have early food then I pack her off to bed at 9pm

And I make a mental note not to drop you in it at breakfast the next morning this time!
