I went last year and if you're planning on going for food, I'd highly recommend booking somewhere.

If the worst comes to the worst I'll just stop by Grubbs burgers in Brighton on the way back

Grubbs... mmmmmmmm....

Man I haven't had one of those in a while. When I lived in Brighton, I used to always call in the one on London Road after the pub. Man that place does good burgers. Seriously!

You're on first name terms there I take it?
Tropical burger, fries and a large bannana milkshake.

Just don't try and shin over the railings between there and St Peters church unless you like pain since the top bars rotate on most of them which resulted in some comedy arm strain an inverted Karl and a close encounter with the pavement.

Peanut butter, Pineapple and sliced banana. It's a brutal feast of grease if you include the burger. It really ought to be called the Elvis.

No Seriously guys, it sound wrong I agree, but it tastes sooooo right. And yeah, the top railing there is a tube that will spin, not good for hopping over, I too have seen people seriously fail there and wouldn't fancy trying it myself

I am sure there was a grubs as well in Kemp Town, when we used to live there.

I am all geared up for the worthing event, work put down for that saturday, but have managed to change it, so all free now. My wife said she'll even drop me off at the venue, so I can drink and make my way home......later on

Yeah, as well as the St Peter's Church Grubbs, there's one in Kemp Town and one at the end of Western Road, where it turns into Church Road (Hove border).

Anyway, I've every intention of making it over. Might be on my own driving, so sadly can't do the boozing, but still really looking forward to it.

Hi guys

All looking good for the Slam in a couple of weeks. Will and I flyered/postered some of the pubs in Worthing last night - unfortunately the Rose And Crown is still the only one with a pinball machine .... a very sorry looking High Roller Casino, which they actually bought at the Slam last year. It was in lovely condition then : (

In case you didn't know the TOP prize in the SLam charity raffle is a very nice Williams Whitewater pinball !! So dont forget to get yr tickets.

Hope to see a load of you guys there. I know Greg Mott thru the pin scene.

Cheers

Ive

Would bringing the videogame/pin industry testrigs be boring and nerdy and not appreciated? They're cool to look at if nothing else, but are hideously rare ;) CAX always has displays of rare-wares so i'm thinking along those lines...

There will be a few interested but I suspect, given the crowd it's aimed at, it'll go largely unnoticed.

Let's not worry about the wrong kind of crowd. Bring on the rareties Pman.
