steam uninstalled my game

i fired up steam to play metro exodus which i have been playing for a while now. games now greyed out
and asking me to install it again.

so i install it again 78gb

load it up and iam no where near the part of the game i was in before it unistalled

there is no way iam doing it all again, iam about 5 hours behind where i was

anyone ever had this issue?

Metro Exodus just had a major update to a new Next Gen visuals version, one that requires an RTX card to run. On my machine its left both versions installed but as its a separate game it does not share the saved game from the original one. I had to start again.

iam not back at the begining but i was at the last mission of the caspian and now iam back at the very start of that region

i was about 3/4 way through..

i never went back to it couldn’t be arsed

i set up a jap account on ps3 bought some exclusive jap ps3 titles
like tekken 3 DR some siren game’s then sony just deleted the games
