Not had a post here about this yet. I think it looks awesome. The playfield looks really full and interesting, and I like the art around the DMD. Premium cab has great art too.

Funny I was just thinking last night that it was a missed opportunity not to have a ghostbusters pin. I love the ghostbusters and may have to have this once if my house build ever finishes. It would be a nice first pin.

Regarding the translight, it could have been much worse...they could have based this on this new sh*t they are calling ghostbusters!Wall_Street2016-03-11 12:16:57

One of the best looking Stern pins ever imo
Yes the backbox is cartoony but its growing on me
Playfield looks awesome though!
Interested to see the hologram stuff on the LE.
Hmm Ghostbusters pin or conservatory... a close one that :)

I'm not a pinball nut by any means, and don't own one. But I love pinballs generally and play them whenever I'm in a place that houses them. Big fan of Pinball Arcade too.

Met Gary Stern a few times - nice bloke - clearly loves doing what he does, and is very passionate about pinball and its history etc.

But I've yet to play a Stern pin (especially the modern ones) that feels "weighty" in the same way that the 80s Williams pins do, or even the new Jersey Jack pins of today. Dunno what it is, but Stern pins just feel cheap and plasticy?

Is that a general consensus amongst Pinball fans, or is it just me?

They have two, normally three models.

Pro = cheapest model

Premium = has all the playfield features

LE = has all the playfield features, normally different artwork and other limited edition stuff going on.

Sterns price gouging has gone crazy!

We can only hope that Heighway pinball start to become more serious competition for Stern over the next couple of years. That will force them to rethink their ridiculous pricing (Alien LE is £6025)
