Strange Sega board...

[ukvac] Strange Sega board...
I picked up a strange JAMMA Sega board yesterday. It has 4 cartridge slots
and came with a Sonic the Hedgehog 2 cartridge. The cartridges are about
4x4x0.5 inches in size.

Anyone know anything about this system? Is it like the gutts of a Sega Genesis
console or something.

Does anyone have the dipswitch settings? or know how much the board is worth?
(just wondered if I got ripped off or not).

It was a system much like Players choice. I have one with sonic 1 in and guess
what ? it dont work ! Its Jamma but I beleive it need another monitor pluged into one of the many sets of pins. Hope you didn't pay too much for it !

Mine gets as far as the Sega logo then nothing. I think it may need all 4 slots filled. If you have any luck with it then drop me a mail at andrew@arcade-heaven.co.uk if if you want the sonic 1 cart !

Sounds similar to the Sega Megatech system (of which I own 4), but the
Megatech has 8 slots and isnt Jamma. Got a photo handy?

Sounds like a SEGA megachoice or summin. It is indeed a arcade version
of the megadrive! Much like the Nintendo Playchoice machines! Think it
had 2 monitors, one for the game (big 20") and another little one for
the selecting of the game!!
