so i cant find any suzo happ anywhere, but have been looking on FB and this forum for previous posts and people have mentioned the Mean Well RT-125A

My only concern is it looks nothing like what is currently in the machine.

Someone also linked this, but im guessing this is a cheap knock off?

I have 2 of them, Only had them for around 4 months, they seem ok although on more power hungry boards (bootlegs) I struggled to get 5v to the board until I added another ground and 5v line to the jamma harness.
Could be the PSU but most likely the voltage drop was due to the cheap harness.

my harness is good, i just cant regulate the 5v power to it properly, its either too high or way too low
you could try some contact cleaner on the Pot that controls the 5V also make sure to check the voltage at the PCB side rather than the PSU
if thats the only issue its maybe not worth splashing out on a new PSU

yeah, ive not been checking the voltage at the PSU, didnt seem worth it, been doing it at the harness, i can get it down to about 5.3 and when i try and get it lower, it drops to 0.9

That's labeled differently to mine.
I'd wire the ac and earth and test the other terminals to ground (dc ground not the ac earth)

+V2 is most likely +12V must be written on the sticker.
NC means not connected.
V3 could be -5V, again must be written on the sticker.

You can connect the AC terminals only. Multimeter (DC) black probe on the COM screw and use the other probe to identify the voltages. Write them down if they are not on the sticker.

just to re-iterate, im going to do this shortly, so the 3rd connection up on my new PSU is the field ground, which is the AC ground correct?

and nothing goes onto the NC...what is that actually for then?

3rd screw fom bottom to top is the earth. Connect it to mains earth.
NC is there because why not :))) Those screw terminals are standard and this must have been the cheapest option for production. Same case, same screw terminal, but internals different for other types of PSUs.

so, an update, the only issue i have now is this, the 3 wires for earth wont fit in going in one way, on the old PSU one came in from behind, but that isnt possible on the new one, guessing there must be some sort of connector or something that i can use but not sure what to look for
