Super Contra in Europe

Hi.

I've been trying to research this, but it has been difficult as there doesn't appear to be much information.

There are some indications that Super Contra was released in Europe, but it appears to be the exact same version as the one released in North America. I just want to verify if this is the case, or if there exists a distinct version of the game that was released in Europe.

MAME databases suggest only 2 versions of the game (Japanese and US).

I used to have a Super Contra PCB, I'll see if I can find any photo's I took of it when I eventually sold it, from memory Colin bought it...I think.
