Arcade newbie here (but Terminator fan and that's how I found this forum). Sorry to bump this very interesting topic about the various different versions of T2 Arcade Game, but I noticed another small difference.

As you can see the cabinet on this one features a cable of the motorcycle on the side art. See bottom of the shirt:

You can find more pics on google of this art.

All the machines posted on this picture don't feature that cable:

Another question.
Are there more pictures available of the sit down version btw?

Can someone please tell me what kind of version of T2 Arcade this is?

Side art is not official (wrong T2 font). Is this some kind of official version that has been customized?

It's the Midi Size cab with some artwork from full size slapped on it

It's a nice sized cab those if tight on space but to me the main reason to own that game is for the artwork if your a fan of the films, so without it's not very nice and that artwork bodged on it ain't either

Thanks for replying. You think this is the Deith Leisure one or some other midi sized version?

I'm still not sold on the side art. The A in Terminator leans towards the incorrect side. It doesn't look official.

The artwork is definitely not original. The cabinet could also have been fabricated in recent years too and parts used from an original machine.

Ok, am still looking for images of an original midi size cabinet (and that sitdown machine). Am interested in the history of the Terminator 2 arcade machine and the different releases/versions of this machine.

Can't find any pictures of the Midi now

There have been some on ebay before, wish I saved all the photo's for stuff like this

Bascially that is the Midi cab but it should have plain sides, not like most cabs with just black vinyl, it's like a Blue/grey sort of colours, diagonal lines on it, very hard to explain, think the front had same also

Looking at the photo again, they have painted over the corners that look alloy black

Totally ruined the cab, unless it was in really poor condition but I wish people would leave things original, then ask £1,250 on Gumtree as well
