I'd really, really, really like a MC game :) I have a trackball as part of my feeble plan to gather parts whilst I wait for one (and room) to turn up and I tried to buy some of the dead MC PCBs that Zektor was selling so I could at least have a bench-top version, but forgot about the auction and got outbid at the last moment

Your MC looks in pretty nice nick!

That's how I got my Robotron, transformer, boards, psu, sticks, loom, monitor, cab in that order.

Andy.

Yeah, overall it's in pretty good order. It's an unrestored example, all original artwork other than the control panel which has an overlay. I have been tempted to apply new side art but the original stuff is in too good a condition so it's staying as is.

Non worker when I got it. Board fault and duff monitor but nothing too drastic. The monitor is an Electrohome, but is not original to the cab - judging by the screen burn it's spent the best part of it's life in a racing game cab, which is a shame but at least it's the correct model for the cab.

Managed to blow the transformer on it last year (I know, supposed to be impossible) so a replacement was sourced from an Atari Basketball (identical part number).

Other than that I've not had to do too much to it - just the usual replacement of trak-ball bearings and rollers. I also have two Super Missile Attack add-on boards - one clearly marked GCC, the other with no markings and a slightly different PCB layout ..... bit of a mystery as to the history of the non-GCC board. I also have a spare Missile Command board that's been kitted out with unencrypted SMA ROMs.

I too was tempted by the Zektor auction, but he also had a worker for sale at the same time, so I opted for that. First cab was an MC cocktail - had that for about 3 months before lucking out on the upright.
