[ukvac] tech: defender no sound problem
Hi all,
My defender cabaret (streets, old board set) has no sound. The only thing that issues forth is an occasional crackle and rhythmic ticking from the speaker. No sound is produced by pressing on the test button either
I've checked the cabling and drawn a blank. The 6808 on the sound board is running VERY hot - is this normal, or indicative of problems?
Another wierd thing is the one-player button doesn't work at the interface board - the button itself and the harness are OK. strange..
Any ideas?
