[ukvac] tech: Frogger PCB
I've recently purchased a Sega Frogger PCB. Having made up a Jamma
converter, I can't find a volume control knob on the PCB. There is however
a very low volume sound coming out of the cabinet speaker. Does Frogger
need an external amp, or am I just failing to see the volume control? If it
does need an external amp, does anyone have a recommendation for one I could
use? Any help given would be most appreciated. Cheers, Steve

Re: [ukvac] tech: Frogger PCB
Steve,

External volume control (10K ohm pot).

On boards #834-0084 & #800-0084 it's connected on the edge connector:-
wiper - P
track - V
track - S (and sheath)

On board #834-0086 there is a separate 3-pin connector for the pot:-
wiper - pin 4
track - pin 2
track - pin 6 (and sheath)
(odd pins may not be fitted on the board).

Regards,

Paul.
