[ukvac] [TECH] Gauntlet 2, P3 and P4
Hi,

Does anyone have any information/instructions etc
on how to connect a 3rd and 4th player controls
to a Gauntlet 2? I know you can select player and
colour at the start, and that there are extra
connectors for P3 and P4, but I have no
information on how to go about it. I have no
looms and no manual.
If anyone can help, or knows of a page that
details such, please let me know.
Thanks,
Justin.

y> [tt] Justin,

I've just done a Gauntlet2 to jamma for someone. I'm a bit busy just
now, but there is a Gauntlet to jamma document on the net somewhere. If
not I can supply all the info you will need - if you meant you wanted to
jamma it, if not you will need the manual as I don't have any info on
the internals of the cab...

I never connected the 3rd and 4th player controls up as my task was to
connect it to jamma (which only has two coin slots), and I also
converted the unamplified stereo sound to amplified mono sound as again,
Jamma is mono.

If you want to do it properly you will need a cab with four coin slots,
OR four buttons - whatever, and build the amp.

If I got the wrong end of the stick here and you have a Gauntlett cab,
then just ignore me :O)

Thanks, do you have pin-outs for the connectors
so I can make the wiring?
