[ukvac] Tech: Power Supply
I just wanted to check the best way to test a linear PS. I hooked it
up to my Multimeter and got 12v and 5.3v after a bit of fiddling with
the trim pot. I then changed to an AC scale and tested again thinking
this would tell me if the filter caps were doing their job. I got 0v
for both outputs. I know I should test the supply under load so can
anyone tell me if a low resistance high wattage ceramic resistor is
what I need and if so what value.
Cheers
